The Hangover (2009)

Directed by: Todd Phillips
Written by: Jon Lucas, Scott Moore
Tagline: Some guys just can't handle Vegas
Starring: Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha, Heather Graham, Jeffrey Tambor, Ken Jeong

This movie was the first thing to make me laugh in a long time. It kept me smiling for hours after I watched it. I loved this movie, fo sho. Every single minute of this film was amazing. I loved all the characters (except for Stu's bitchy girlfriend), and all of the crazy ass fucking retarded things they did, like Stu pulling out his own tooth, and their stupid prank on Doug, leaving him on the roof for two days... Classic.

The plot was fantastic, and it just kept making me want more. I laughed my ass off, and I simply fell in love with it all. This is exactly why I don't drink often. I'm afraid that this will happen. Although it does look tremendously fun. This movie is all about the shitty-ass consequences you have to deal with after a night of pure unadulterated fun. If you're gonna get fucked up on alcohol, you gotta think about what you're getting into. They love to blame it all on the alcohol like Jamie Foxx... or they can just blame it on the roofies.

I would definitely recommend this film if you haven't already seen it. I really want to watch it again soon.

We're the three best friends that anybody could have. I LOVE Zach Galifianakis!! He is awesome as Alan. Super funny frigging movie. I didn't like Doug, but luckily he wasn't in it for very long. Great plot, great characters, great soundtrack, great actors...an almost perfect movie.

I thought he looked more like a Carlos. I found a baby before. There was a tiger in the bathroom! I can't even think of how awesome this movie is. I'm just so speechless! I can't believe I didn't see this movie sooner!

Semi-Pro (2008)

Directed by: Kent Alterman
Written by: Scot Armstrong
Tagline: The Greatest Fro on Earth
Starring: Will Ferrell, Woody Harrelson, Andre Benjamin, Maura Tierney, Will Arnett, Andy Richter, Jackie Earle Haley

This movie was kinda boring. Didn't have the best plotline and the only thing to look forward to is Will Arnett. His fake moustache was very hot. Andre Benjamin of Outkast was a surprisingly good thing to watch as well.

So this dude, Jackie Moon, stole this really badly written song from his dead mom, became a one hit wonder, raked in loads of money and bought some shitty basketball team. That shitty team fought super dooper hard once they got old fogey Woody Harrelson just so they could have a chance at the NBA. After finding out they weren't going to get into the NBA no matter what, they still played their last game. It was pretty lame.

There was seriously nothing to look forward to in this movie. Usually David Koechner is even funny enough to sit through a movie with but not this time. This movie sucked balls.

It's the same old awesome sports movie again. Annnnd it's with Will Ferrell! What a surprise. I actually don't mind these kinds of movies, even though I kinda despise sports. They're really excessive, and repetitive, and if you've seen one, you've seen them all. But still, it's full of that inspirational shit everyone loves, mixed with all the nasty humor, too.

Will Ferrell always plays a loser who ends up winning in the end. Maybe that's just how his actual life goes. He stated that this would be his last sports film. Which might be a good thing for him. They have kinda been done to death. The stories are always relate-able; the guy is losing control of his life, he has an epiphany, and works hard to fix everything, going through all the extremities and always triumphing in the end. I actually love these kinds of stories, but this movie wasn't exactly my favorite.
